How To Get It

Preserve your work or momentarily to prevent smudges while you are working with this fixative. It can be applied to works of charcoal, pastel, pencil and chalk immediately. While the fixative is durable and protects the surface of drawings, it can also be applied while working, as a medium. The 14 oz. aerosol spray makes applying thin coats of protective layers to the surface of drawings precise and quick.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best fixative I've beden doing pastels for years and I always used Daler-Rowney Perefix Spray Fixative. It was the best and for some reason it is no longer sold in the US or Canada. I've tried a number of other fixatives but none measure up to the Daler-Rowney brand. I find that W-N did not fix the pastels on one spraying or even two. I need the pastels to be fixed because I like working back into the pastel without having it smear. When doing 2nd or 3rd sprayings I was using almost a can of W-N. It's ridiculous not to be able to buy a fixative that actually works without using the entire can of fixative. If anyone knows why Daler-Rowney, which can be bought in Great Britain but not sent to the US, is off the market I'd sure like to know why!
