Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very handy, but a few drawbacks I bought this to quickly cut large circles, which it does beautifully - once you get the hang of it. Some advice: 1. Don't use your nice expensive super thick cardstock, at least until you learn the mysterious ways of this cutter. Use your medium weight (mid to low 200's in gsm) card and experiment. 2. Use a light touch. Several light spins is much better than a couple of spins with lots of pressure. Just keep spinning until the circle you're cutting separates from the cardstock. 3. You're going to use a whole sheet of paper, no matter what size circle you cut. You can get two small circles if you plan, but anything above maybe three inches and you'll need a new sheet of paper. The reason for this is the little "posts" the cutter uses to hold the paper in place actually puncture the paper. Also, because you need those posts to hold the paper, you need to use a pretty good size piece. 3. My recommendation is to use this only for the larger circles. This cutter is fantastic at those - it's so nice to be able to get an 8" circle without the hassle of my Scan N Cut. Use a punch or die for the sub 3" circles

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Circles in any sizes easy to use practice first I like this tool. It took me a few tries to get it to cut my cardstock. It also takes a few minutes to get the hang of it. Once I did - it makes great circles and the edge is smooth no starts and stops. If must use paper that is at least 8x8 no matter what size circle you are making - but the tool needs to hold the paper in place. I wanted to use different size circles in my scrapbooking and card making this is going to help alot and the price is good - a lot less expensive than buying 10 punches, which you cannot find in the graduating sizes.
