Switch colors after every wave row. The pattern is written with 4" positive ease. Use bust measurement plus 4" to find the nearest size, or size desired to make. Finished bust sizes are XS: 34", S: 38", M: 42", L: 46", XL: 50", 2X: 54", 3X: 58", 4X: 62", 5X: 66".
Pattern is made as 2 body panels, which are sewn together, then sleeves are worked onto body.
Wave stitch rows are the right side of piece. Sc rows are wrong side.

Body Panel Front:
Row 1: Create a row of foundation sc to the length associated with the size desired. XS: 17", S: 19", M: 21", L: 23", XL: 25", 2X: 27", 3X: 29", 4X: 31", 5X: 33". Make sure that this row has a number of fsc stitches that is a multiple of 8, plus 2 extra fsc.
Row 2: Turn. Ch 1, sc 2, *hdc, dc, tr 2, dc, hdc, sc 2, repeat from * to end of row.
Tie off color 1.
With color 2.
Row 3: Turn. Ch 1, sc in each st to end of row.
Row 4: Turn. Ch 3 (counts as tr), tr, dc, hdc, sc 2, *hdc, dc, tr 2, dc, hdc, sc 2, repeat from * to last 4 sts of row, hdc, dc, tr 2.
Tie off color 2.
With color 3.
Row 6: Repeat row 3.
Row 7: Repeat row 2.
Repeat rows 3-7, ending after a row 2 repeat, until piece measures the desired length from top of shoulder to bottom hem, minus 2", approximately 18-23".
To make the neckline, measure in from the outer edge of each side of the last row, XS: 4" S: 5", M: 6", L: 7", XL: 8", 2X: 9", 3X: 10", 4X: 11", 5X: 12". Place a stitch marker in a tr or sc st to mark this.

Neckline Left:
Neckline Row 1: Ch 1, sc to the first marked st.
Neckline Row 2: Repeat row 4.
Tie off current color.

Assembling Body:
Place the two panels together with right sides facing.
Stitch the shoulder sections together.
Lay the piece flat. Measure from top of shoulder down the outer edge, XS: 6 1/2", S: 7", M: 7 1/2", L: 8", XL: 8 1/2", 2X: 9", 3X: 9 1/2", 4X: 10", 5X: 10 1/2". Place a marker. Repeat for the other side. Stitch up either side, from the hem up to the marker.

Sleeves:
Attach yarn to the underarm of the assembled piece. Start working round 1 from wrong side of piece.
Round 1: Ch 1, sc around the sleeve opening, making sure to end with a stitch number that is a multiple of 8.
Round 2: Turn. Ch 1, *sc 2, hdc, dc, tr 2, dc, hdc, repeat from * to end of round, sl st into first st of round.
Tie off color 1.
With color 2.
Round 3: Turn. Ch 1, sc in each st to end of round, sl st into first st of round.
Round 4: Turn. Ch 3 (counts as tr), tr, dc, hdc, sc 2, *hdc, dc, tr 2, dc, hdc, sc 2, repeat from * to end of round, sl st into first st of row.
Tie off color 2.
With color 3.
Round 6: Repeat round 3.
Round 7: Repeat round 2.
Repeat rounds 3-7, ending after a round 2 repeat, until sleeve reaches the desired length.
