SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1 small White Pineapple container
  • 1 large Gold Pineapple container
  • 1 extra small Gold Pineapple container
  • Floral foam, 6pk
  • Wire cutters
  • Floral tape
  • 3 Tropical Bear Paw, green/pink
  • 2 Tropical greenery bushes, mixed
  • 2 Tropical Phalaenopsis orchid bouquets
  • 2 Tropical Dahlia & Rose green bush, mixed

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut and insert floral foam into the gold pineapple containers to fit tightly in each container.
  2. Trim two Bear Paw stems down and insert into the large gold pineapple container. Once they are in the arrangement, begin to fill in around the Bear Paw with the tropical greenery. Separate the greenery into clusters and insert all around the Bear Paw.
  3. Add the orchids to the arrangement, making sure there are orchids on each side of the container. Fill in around the orchids with the Dahlias and Roses.
  4. Insert different types of greenery from the mixed bush greenery to fill in any bare spots or help shape the lines of the arrangement.
  5. Repeat the above process for the extra small gold pineapple as well, omitting the Bear Paw from this smaller pineapple container.
  6. For the white pineapple container, trim the stem of the last Bear Paw so the flower sits just above the gold top of the vase. Bend the stem slightly so that the flower leans to the outside a bit. After the Bear Paw is in place, add the orchid stems to the arrangement. Add a green Rose and some greenery stems to this arrangement to make it look complete on all sides.

JOANN Hacks:

  • To cut floral foam, take an impression of the container top, flip foam around and cut the foam around the impression lines.

  • If floral or greenery stems are too short to add to the taller white vase, add a piece of garbage stem to the short stem by taping it together using floral tape.
