Splendid Superwash 131yds Bulky Merino Wool by K&C
A piece of art hand-dyed 100% merino superwash wool yarn. Single ply, fattened up with steam before hand dye process to make this yarn as soft as possible. After single ply production process, a separate thinner yarn,100% merino wool and superwash again, twisted to first ply to give a different effect and to make it more durable. Then the total yarn is hand dyed. An irregular texture, combined with long staple wool fiber and hand dye technique gives an excellent touch and look. Superwash treatment on the fiber helps us to reflect very vivid colors and tones of them. Suitable for quick knit projects, hats, scarves, textured stitches, accessories.

Love!
This is fabulous yarn -- very soft and squishy. The colors are gorgeous -- both the solids and the multicolor ones. However, please note that the stitch gauges printed on the tag appear to be switched. For #5 bulky yarn, I usually get about 10 sc = 4 inches in crochet and 14 sts = 4 inches in knitting.

Soft, warm, easy to work with
Crocheted my mom a scarf with Grape Hyacinth. So soft and warm and was very easy to work with. feels and looks more expensive than it is. the color variation also spread nicely when it was worked up.

Uber soft, beautiful colors
I don’t agree with the other reviewers. I do think this is on par with a bulky weight yarn. I didn’t have ANY shedding after washing. All wools need a bit of a shave at some point, even superwash. This is my new favorite yarn! So soft and smooth! Such squish! I bought 8 colors and every single one of them is amazing. It is right on par with Chunky Mbrigo yarn, which I consider a true bulky weight, and a bit lighter than Mbrigo Noventa (a light super bulky).

Soft and Affordable SW Merino Yarn
Pleasure to work with on the softness side, and the color absolutely cannot be beat. It worked up into a wonderfully soft shrug. It sheds a bit, especially during blocking/washing, though.
I agree with a previous review, however, that this yarn is not classified as a #5, I think it's much closer to a #4 or a "light bulky" as it does not work up as a "bulky" yarn normally would. This wasn't a dealbreaker, but adjust your pattern accordingly if you're planning for a bulky yarn. Overall, though, still recommend it!

NOT a #5 bulky wool at all.
I wanted this #5 bulky wool so much. But it is NOT a bulky wool. It may be a #4, but a thin #4. Very disappointed. The color and softness are great.
