Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wore out Big Kick loving it till death do us part! I purchased a Big Kick about 5 years ago and did an extraordinary unusual thing with it. I purchased sheet copper, cut it into the strips to handle with the width of an embossing folder and ran those strips through my machine to emboss long lengths that were then used to cover half rounds that are on the edge of my stairwell and the edge of my fireplace hearth. Also I covered the electrical plates with embossed copper. Intend on using it in jewelry making now. Gotta say I really loved that Big Kick but really worked it hard - real hard! Had to purchase a new machine though I really did a lot with the old machine! The fireplace hearth and stairwell were my first uses ever with a die cutting machine. I never used it in the traditional way most folks use the die cutter.

Any paper I use weather it's thin or thick it always cracks and I cannot even use easy frames with an embossing folder. Does anyone else have this issue? Do I need to purchase only Sizzix items for this machine? I was under the impression that this machine was compatible with any kind of embossing folders, die cutters...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, love, love my Vintaj! I purchased the Vintaj Bigkick less than a month ago and love it! Easy to set up, easy to use. Works on thin papers to Vintaj metals for jewelry! Can't wait to add more dies to my collection for my custom greeting cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy set up and use! I bought the unit to support my jewelry making business. I needed something to make unique setting that I can mount a stone onto. I press in a design, drill holes, solder prongs onto the embossed setting.

With the embossing folders I have been making textured jewelry and it has paid for itself! This product really can expand your designs and creations to the next level.
