Love this machine and have purchased two so far.
I’ve been using this model for several years now and my grandsons Waldorf school purchased a ton of them for the kids to use. I purchased another one in Black for my 14-year-old grandson for for his eighth grade graduation. He learned how to sew this year in school and is super excited to use it for making clothes. What is I think he likes that it’s black.

It’s a good machine but…
I like the machine, but it has been challenging contacting SINGER and ask for a piece that is missing. I’m frustrated! Once I have my problem resolved, I will update my review accordingly. I think is fair.

First time I went to use it, it broke
Heavy Duty with only a 6 month warranty? The first time I went to use this machine, it broke. Coincidence? Fluke? Nope. This is the second time this model machine broke in the bobbin area in the exact same way. Worst value ever. Very disappointed. Who has time for that?

Problem with Joann
I purchased this machine yesterday. Before I placed the order I changed the address on my profile. I deleted my old address and added my new address. However, when I placed the order the screen flipped up to show that it would be delivered to my old address. I contacted Joann immediately and told them the problem, but they said they can't change it due to security reasons. I should just call the company delivering and see if they can deliver it to my current address. That is all they can do. I can't cancel the order either. BAD SERVICE, Joann.
