Beginner 1-2 Hours

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Seed beads (various colors)
  • Elastic beading cord
  • Scissors
  • 2 end bar separator/beading bar
  • 2 earring wires
  • Wire cutters

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Decide the pattern you want the beads to be in. Once you have the pattern laid out, trim the beading bar, if needed, so that there is one loop for each strand.
  2. Thread all the beads onto the elastic cord and tie the end of the cord to the coordinating bead bar loop, knot the end a few times to secure in place and trim off any excess cord.
  3. Push the beads so there is no slack in the cord and on the other end use the cord to tie a knot around the last bead. Do several knots to secure in place and cut off any excess cord.
  4. Repeat until all the strands are beaded and secured in place.
  5. Add an earring wire to the single loop on top.
  6. Repeat so you have two matching earrings.

Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:

  • When deciding your layout, you can lay them flat on a work surface or make a pattern with markers on a sheet of paper.
