STITCH EXPLANATION:
Cl (3 double crochet cluster - dc3tog worked in same st) Yarn over, insert hook in indicated st and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook (2 loops on hook), * yarn over, insert hook in same st and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook; rep from * once more, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook.

NOTES:
Blankie is worked back and forth in rows, in a granny stitch chevron pattern.
The granny stitch chevron pattern is easy to do, but it's important to remember that you may need to work several rows before the chevron pattern becomes clear.
Granny stitches consist of 3-dc groups. The Chevron pattern arranges Granny stitches into a sequence of peaks and valleys. Peaks are made by working (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) worked in the ch-3 sp of peaks in previous row. Valleys are made by skipping sts in valleys of previous row.
