A skein of a different color
I bought a skein about a year ago of Polo and set it aside. I started on a project and ran out. Went to the store to get more, got it home and the colors look faded. The older skein was super bold colors and these new skeins look faded.
I know about buying all the yard tonget the same lot, but this color change isn't just a little off.. it's way off. I looked at the tags and they are all Polo. I'm not sure what happened with the dye lot. The colors I. These new ones don't really match the photo online of the colors either.

Aran (white) and Pool (blue) yarn
The white (aran) yarn I got is a little coarse. Not as soft as the other yarn I have am used to and am using. But I didn't realize how different the texture is until it was next to the other yarn. The Blue (pool) yarn is nice and soft like my other yarn.
