Amazing little tool
Our first grandbaby was born recently and I made a couple hats for them. They were so quick and easy my wife suggested I make some for our daughter to sell at some craft fairs she is selling some pottery she had made. They suggested adding pom poms, something I have never made. Picked up this at Joann's and it was so easy to use and made fantastic little pom poms.

I have all of the sizes of pom pom makers. They are so easy to use and you really don't have to use a lot of yarn to make a nice ball. Just be sure to make extra ones for the cat. Got mine with a coupon, so extra happy with these:)

Very easy!
I tried this set after having success with the set that is the next size larger. I used the smallest size 1-3/8", and was able to make the Pom-Pom very quickly! Both halves of the circle open up to wrap yarn around, then you close and cut the yarn on the outside edge. You slip a longer piece of yarn through the area you cut to tie off the Pom-Pom before removing it. It worked very well.
Be aware that if you overfill with yarn, you may find the half circle wants to pull away before you've tied off the Pom-Pom.
