He’ll love it
I really didn’t know anyone did this anymore! My daughter used to do it 25 years ago and now my 5 old nephew is obsessed! Purchased for him for Christmas so I’m sure he will love it

Not happy with kit
This set was picked out by my 7-year old grandson. He has made other Perler bead projects. He was disappointed with this set because he thought the boards would be shaped like the sharks in the picture on the front of the kit. The sharks are actually worked on other Shaped boards and the boards are not clear. When the boards are clear they can be set on top of a pattern and it makes it easier for younger Perler bead users to make them. Also the beads are not sorted which I should’ve noticed that in the store. And the tray is really hard to store

Fun Activity
My husband bought these to play recall back to his childhood. He helped our 8 y/o daughter and 3 y/o son to create sharks, while also having fun himself. My daughter used the beads to make her own creations. Fun and would purchase again.

It is a good mix of colors and has detailed patterns! The beads melt slowly. This allows for a controlled melt and is way more forgiving than Melty Beads!

Keep the kids entertained.
Love this! Everything comes in it that you would need. It had more then one form so if you have multiple kids they all can do this together. I have gotten some in the past and it only has one so only one kid can do it at a time. Big hit in my house to keep the kids entertained for a while. My 4yo does need help, thank in order for the sharks to come out right you do have to do some counting.
