How To Get It
Used For: Used with thin or lightweight fabrics to stiffen, reinforce and provide shape retention on garments, costumes, accessories and crafts.
Special Benefits: Two main types of interfacing include fusible (which is applied with heat) and sew-in. They can be knit or woven, and come in a variety of weights to reinforce different kinds of base fabric.
Pellon® 541 Wash-N-Gone® Stabilizer 19" x 1 yard Package. 541 Wash-N-Gone® is a lightweight embroidery stabilizer that is great for machine embroidery, appliqué, cut work, and monogramming. It stabilizes the fabric during stitching. The excess can be easily and completely washed away in all water temperatures.

Sewing ITY knit, solved skipped stitches
Great for stabilizing a drapey ITY knit fabric. Despite having a walking foot, rethreading my machine multiple times, and using clips to hold the fabric together without too much distortion, and using a ballpoint needle, stitches kept skipping until I used this stabilizer on top of the fabric I was sewing. Now I know to use this if I sew with troublesome knit fabrics again.

Perfect for my project
Works just like it says. Dissolves in water. However, if I didn't know anything about stabilizers I would have been lead astray by the poorly informed sales help. If you work on a fabric store you should have some knowledge of sewing/embroidery, interfacing, fabric, etc.

questionable....
As far as being a stabilizer for "in the hoop" projects- it's ok.... but don't let it get wet, because it wads up like a bumpy glob under the fabric, doesn't wash away and leave fabric smooth...

Best wash and gone product
First time buying this wash and gone and I love it. After embroidery is finish you just have to trim around the project and wash it does come off.
