Used For: Used with thin or lightweight fabrics to stiffen, reinforce and provide shape retention on garments, costumes, accessories and crafts.
Special Benefits: Two main types of interfacing include fusible (which is applied with heat) and sew-in. They can be knit or woven, and come in a variety of weights to reinforce different kinds of base fabric.
Pellon® 180 Knit-N-Stable™ Interfacing 20" Wide. 180 Knit-N-Stable™ is a highly versatile sheer and fusible knit stabilizer. It aids in preventing shredding during heavy embroidery needling, offers lightweight lining support that stretches with movement, and protects skin from irritating embroidery stitches. Ideal for delicate fabrics like silk, chamois, lamé, satin, and spandex; and will not change the drape or hand of fabric once fused.

T shirt quilt solved
I was asked to make a T shirt quilt for a friend and I did not really want to do it, having had experience quilting a T shirt quilt. It was not particularly fun to do as there was no stabilization of the stretchy knits. Using the Pellon Knit-N-Stable product was easy and prevented the problem I had with previous quilt. It was easy to use and caused no problem with assembly or quilting.

Lightweight and flexible
I used this to back squares for a t shirt quilt. It was the first one I made and was a little unsure of what I was doing. This kept my squares stable and was light enough to sew the squares together without adding bulk

Easy knit interfacing
This knit interfacing works like a dream for knit fabrics! I used it for the first time for a neckline facing and I loved how it easily it fused with my iron. I would definitely recommend this product for any knit project that needs a little stabilizing
