SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Color Pour: 32 Color Pack
  • Wooden Circle
  • Black and Green Cardstock
  • Color Pour Plastic Drop Cloths
  • Color Pour Non-latex Gloves
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Funnel
  • Plastic Cups

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Set circle on a plastic cup (or anything to hold it up so paint can drip off the sides).
  2. Hold funnel in the center of the wood circle. Pour several shades of orange into the funnel, as well as white and glitter paints if desired. Slowly lift the funnel to let the color sneak out of the bottom, tilting and turning the wood until the entire piece is covered.
  3. Let dry completely, overnight if possible.
  4. Cut eyes, nose and mouth shapes from black cardstock and stem from green cardstock.
  5. Adhere to pumpkin.

JOANN HACKS:

  • This project is great for kids.
  • If you'd rather, cut shapes for the Jack-o-lantern using an electronic die cutting machine. This will allow for more precision and more variety.
  • Before working, put down a plastic drop cloth and wear gloves if desired.
