Nice set of figures for summertime homeschool learning session
I purchased this set of 24 count insect figures to use along with the" Scholastic Discover more : Bugs " book. You get 10different insects : a housefly, Caterpillar, Dragon fly, Praying Mantis, Ant, cricket, centipede, red beetle, grasshopper, and a black beetle in this pack along with 2 arachnids : a spider and a scorpion. Not the best quality but they worked for our purposes and my kids have enjoyed making play scenes for them.

Kids love bugs
We've used these sturdy bugs in slime and kinetic sand, but the activity possibilities are endless: sandboxes, wash them, other imaginative play. The bugs are pretty large, like 3" and made to be played hard with (we haven't lost any little legs yet! 4 year old twins) Most, if not all, will survive to go to another family when we're done. Good variety of bugs, they're painted and look realistic, actually a large number of bugs in the tube!

Decent value for money
Cohesive set (bugs all seem pretty proportional to each other in size, ranging from ~1" to ~3"), approximately 2-ish of each type of bug (crickets, grasshoppers, mantises, earwigs(?), cockroaches, ants, flies, dragonflies, centipedes, spiders, ladybugs). Paint is very plain, but looks decent enough at this small scale. Clear wings on flies and dragonflies lends some realism. Only complaint is that legs are bent at weird angles, but that's fairly standard for these kinds of toys.
