Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love love love I love this yarn so much. I am a little sad that some of the options like peach and teal no longer seem to be there, but I’m hopeful all the colors and more will come back :) this has been my go to yarn now for about 3 months. It’s is extremely soft but doesn’t shed the way parfait chunky does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More colors needed Love this yarn! I always use the posh and was surprised I love this just as much. More colors please.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soft but... I love how soft it is, and it gives me the idea of mix plushy and velvet type of yarn. But the thing is that there are limit colors to as when I make a purchase. I would be even better if there are more color to choose but due to limit color, I only able to make few plushy according to the color avalible. Still I love how soft and a mix of velvet + plush yarn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Amigurumi Yarn This yarn has become my go-to for amigurumi. I love it! So soft and plush. It's like a hybrid velvet and chenille; just a dream! No snapping, no shedding, just so much joy! I'd say it's a pretty solid 5 weight. I haven't had issues with tons of knots; I've barely had any in the multiple colors I've used. Posh is getting all the love and attention from ami makers right now, but this blows Posh away for me. All of the fluffiness of Posh with more buttery softness (in all fairness, it is just slightly thinner, but only just). Please give us more shades (red? orange? black?) and don't abandon this wonderful yarn!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite amigurumi yarn. I'm obsessed with this yarn. I love the matte look, it's crazy soft, and so easy to work with. Yes, it's mislabeled (it's definitely a #5, not a #6), but I actually LOVE that it's not a super bulky yarn. It's perfect for the amigurumi / plushies I'm designing. Please don't ever take it away (I get nervous when I see colors out of stock), and please give us lots more colors to have fun with!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My new favorite yarn! After bad experiences with various chenille yarns in the past, coiling, shedding, becoming a mess after washing, I was resigned to never use them again. But I love the look and feel of that texture, so I decided to risk one more try, with this new Baby Bear yarn. I am glad I did! The good: - No shedding on other clothes when I wear the sweater.; no noticeable fluff flying around when working with the yarn. - Yarn doesn't coil on itself or worm. - Dreamy soft! - No pilling - Easy care. I machine wash the sweater in warm, and machine dry in medium heat. If it doesn't come out totally dry, I let it finish drying flat or on a hanger. The idea is to avoid too much heat that could damage the fibers. The bad: - There are too many knots in a skein. I have a yarn winder and always rewind the yarn to catch any knots or defects, to cut them out before they end up in the middle of a project. As seen on the picture, one big skein became fractured into 6 small balls. That will make a lot of ends to tie together! My advice: Knit or crochet a little tighter to prevent any shifting or “worming”. This also creates a warmer sweater. It is marked as gauge 6 (Super Bulky), which is definitely wrong! I treat it as a gauge 4 (Medium). The sweaters on my photos took 3 skeins of yarn, for a finished weight of 490 grams each. Conclusion: I love the Big Twist Baby Bear yarn. I will buy more colors.
