SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1 Bottle of blue grey acrylic paint
- 1 Bottle of corral acrylic paint
- 1 Bottle of dark terra cotta paint
- 1 Bottle of golden yellow acrylic paint
- Small paintbrush
- Medium paintbrush
- 1 Large canvas
- 1 Roll of painters tape
- 1 Pencil
DIRECTIONS:
- With your pencil, divide canvas into groups of 4 vertically. Lightly draw shapes onto the canvas.
- To make nice curves, use your pencil and a plate or circle shaped template to make an outline. Use your tape to make white space inside of the shape.
- When starting to paint, cover the inside shapes first so that you don't drag your arm across wet paint. You might need to paint two layers to get a nice solid look.
- Use your small paintbrush to get a nice clean edge to each shape.
- Once your paint is dry to the touch, but not completely dry, remove the tape.
JOANN HACKS:
- Before you get ready to paint, make sure you press the painters tape firmly on the edges so that paint does not seep under the tape.
