Long-lasting threader

good idea?
I bought this threader hoping it would be helpful to thread a "beading" needle...NOPE! The little wire threader is too large to fit through that tiny eye of the needle. However this threader works pretty well on larger needle "eyes". I gave 4 stars only because it doesn't work for which I purchased it for! Otherwise it works great!

Not metal as shown
I ordered online and instead of getting the one shown I received one with a plastic center. I wanted the non-plastic version because I use magnets to hold needles and such. I already have a plastic center one, and will use this one as well because they are pretty sturdy, but disappointed it isn't as shown.

Not a fan for embroidery
I have some embroidery/ crewel needles (also purchased at Joann) that I have trouble threading. I thought this would be an easier way too thread but it doesn't fit. The extra thin wire is soooo fragile and the two hooks are too big to fit through the eye. :(

Threader used with yarn
I have tried four or five different threaders with yarn and they all break after four or fives uses, I am still using this treader and love it, my mom tried it over the weekend and she also loves it.
