SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • Favorite cake mix or recipe (4 cups needed)
  • Color Right Performance Color System
  • Red Colored Sugar
  • Silver Pearlized Sugar
  • White Ready-to-Use Decorator Icing - 4.5 tub (1-1/2 cups needed)
  • 16" disposable decorating bags
  • Mega 48-cup mini muffin pan
  • Round decorating Tip 2A

  • ICING COLORS TINTED
  • Use Color Right base colors and QuickCount color formulas to tint batter in the following shades:
  • Spirit Red: 2 cups batter + 50R
  • Spirit Silver: 2 cups batter + 2BK

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Makes approximately 24 treats.
  2. Prepare batter following recipe instructions. Divide batter in half. Tint batter following color formulas provided.
  3. Transfer individually to decorating bags; cut medium tip in each bag.
  4. Pipe red batter into mini muffin pan, about 2 tablespoons per cavity; repeat with silver.
  5. Bake and cool following recipe instructions.
  6. Mix red and silver sugars together in small bowl. Set aside.
  7. Prepare decorating bag with white icing; cut small tip in bag.
  8. Pipe icing on bottom of red or silver cake, making sure icing reaches outer edge of cake.
  9. Top with cake of opposite color.
  10. Roll edges of icing in sprinkle mixture.
