SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

    • Distress Foundry Wax Silver
    • Distress Collage Medium Matte
    • Distress Distress Crayons Set 3
    • Distress Alcohol Ink, Key West
    • Distress Rock Candy Glitter

  • Craft stick
  • Double-stick tape
  • Small paint brush
  • Heat tool
  • Non-stick mat
  • Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
  • Moss
  • 1" styrofoam ball
  • Small plastic bags
  • Paper towel

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Adhere Salvaged Rabbit to the end of a craft stick with double-stick tape.
  2. Shake Silver Foundry Wax until you hear the mixing ball.
  3. Pour out dime size portion of Silver Foundry Wax onto a Non-Stick mat.
  4. Holding the end of the craft stick, quickly paint Salvaged Rabbit with the Foundry Wax using a small paint brush.
  5. Use Embossing Heat Tool to heat the Foundry Wax until it turns shiny, let cool before touching.
  6. Scribble Walnut Stain Distress Crayon on Non-Stick mat. Pick up crayon with a damp paint brush and brush over surface of Salvaged Rabbit to distress.
  7. Remove Salvaged Rabbit from the craft stick and set aside to dry completely.
  8. To color Tiny Eggs, start by placing a few eggs into a small plastic bag.
  9. Add a few drops of Alcohol ink into bag and smoosh so the ink covers the eggs.
  10. Dump eggs out of the bag onto a paper towel to dry.
  11. Once dry, apply a small amount of Collage Medium to egg with your fingers and cover in Rock Candy Glitter, let dry.
  12. Adhere a 1" Styrofoam ball into the Barrel with hot glue.
  13. Adhere the moss, Salvaged Rabbit and Tiny Eggs with hot glue.

JOANN HACKS:

  • For the cutest detail, wrap mini Easter basket in cellophane and tie with ribbon.
