This is Beautiful High-Quality Fabric!
Bought this fabric to re-cover our church's collection baskets which were sadly in need of an upgrade! The covers came out absolutely beautiful and everyone at church was thrilled with the result and the quality! This is fairly thick fabric, and it does unravel and leave velvety bits inside the sewing machine as you are working with it...therefore I recommend binding the raw edges if possible. I used gold double-fold seam binding for this purpose, and it worked out very nice. Also recommend vacuuming out the bits while the project is underway, and afterwards. I will use this again to make 2 more of these covers, and also plan to make some cute clutch purses with the remnants!

Glossy velvet that sees well
I made a bunny toy from this glossy velvet. He's a golden delight. The fabric was not difficult to sew; it didn't seem to shift much despite the reputation of velvets.

Wonderful choice
Beautiful and plush velvet. Gorgeous golden color. A smidgen more difficult to work with because of the thickness, but the quality is fantastic, it is my skill that is lacking.
