Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect sun hat, buy a solid color! I crocheted the Cleo Fedira Sunhat by Make & Do Crew in Marbles colorway. Highly recommend this pattern. However, I was gifted some Valerian colorway, which is a multicolor discontinued color similar to Viola colorway, and when I sought patterns on Ravelry I noticed that this yarn is used for hats and bags and that solid colors look most attractive. After reading reviews on Joann, I decided to use the Valerian for a cat hidey-hole, because the color won't matter. I tried making mesh out of this and I felt the end result was unprofessional looking. Perhaps for garments you'd want to steam block? I steam blocked my hat brim and it helped. I'd like to see an attractive pattern that works with the multicolor ways.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I think I love it, but hard to find patterns for It works up so nicely, and has a much different texture than yarn...no fuzzies like you get with regular yarn, which is great. I had a hard time finding crochet patterns which specifically use this yarn, but I didn't spend very long looking. I just made up my own pattern for a basket, and it turned out great! I only gave it four stars because of the difficulty finding patterns.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Knitting Yarn The first time I saw this yarn, I fell in love with the texture (supper soft) and style (Ribbon that does not snag). I make lap blankets for wheel chair patients at the local nursing home. The 3.5oz / 100g goes a long way in the pattern that I use for my blankets that is just as wide as beach towel, but just a bit shorter than a beach towel. I am also using the yarn for shawls for the same nursing home. Since the yarn is considered a Bulky 5, 10.5 knitting needles (round or straight) is recommended for gauge and/or preference. If you use gauge for knitting projects, then follow the the gauge instructions on the label. When I finish my project, I hope to post pictures. Happy Knitting or Crocheting...Keep the art alive -

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stuff! Fun to work with. Great stuff! Used w/ a G crochet hook to make a wide brimmed 'straw' hat. Citronella color looks like straw. Ordered more in 'Willow' to make a cat cave for my friend's cat, willow! Single crochet with this size hook stands up very well.
