FOR MINKY BABY BLANKET
- 1yd Gray/Daisy Print Fabric
- 1yd Yellow Strip Print Fabric
- 4.5yds White Satin Ruffle Trim
- 1yd Animal Print Fabric
- 1yd Multi Stripe Fabric
- 4.5yds Blue Ruffle Trim
- 1yd Pink/Fruit Print Fabric
- 1yd White/Yellow Polka Dots Fabric
- 4.5 yds Pink Pom-pom Trim
- 1yd Dark Gray/Daisy Print Fabric
- 1yd Light Gray Fabric
- 4.5 yds Extra Large Rick Rack Trim
DIRECTIONS:
SWADDLE BLANKET
- Cut each fabric into a 38" square.
- With WST, baste the two blankets together close to edge.
- Fold edge to front 1/2" and press.
- Fold again 1/2" press and pin in place.
- Stitch around to secure folded edge to front for a finished blanket with edge of back print showing on front.
MINKY BABY BLANKET
NOTE: Sew 1/2" seam allowance.- Square up all blanket pieces to 36".
- For the ruffle trim blankets, with WST, baste the two blankets together close to all four sides.
- Open bottom of ruffle trim and pin over front and back of blanket. Stitch edge of ruffle around blanket. Fold end of ruffle over beginning and stitch.
- Top stitch around blanket 1/4" from finished edge.
- For the pom-pom and rick rack blankets, stitch to main front of blanket on all sides folding ending edge over beginning edge.
- With RST, stitch blanket together leaving an opening for turning.
- Turn and top stitch around blanket 1/4" from finished edge.
