Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Welcome to Jurassic Park" Jurassic Park was my favorite childhood movie, so I was ecstatic when a whole line of LEGO sets dedicated to the movie was announced. I really enjoyed building this set. It makes for a great display set, but it would be nice if the tree was a little more filled out. The Jeep looks great. Overall a good representation of this scene from the movie. LEGO, please consider a line of The Lost World: Jurassic Park sets for its 30th anniversary in 2027! We have never had any sets based on that movie, so I’m sure a line for its anniversary in a few years would be an absolute hit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BIG Dino As you can guess, I purchased this primarily for the big brachiosaurus. I won’t lie: I am JUST as happy as I hoped I would be playing with the huge mini(?)fig. I turned into an 8 year-old for awhile and then set my sights on building the car and tree. Both were fun builds that my son directed. Rarely can a Lego figure’s teeth be brushed with a children’s-sized toothbrush: if you were hoping to try this yourself, here’s proof it can be done!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nostalgic In 2024, it’s easy to take Lego for granted when sets don’t live up to could have beens or should have beens. I am a huge fan of the original Jurassic park movie as well as Lego and I loved this set for the pure nostalgia in Lego form. It’s definitely expensive for what you get but the jeep and tree are fun builds and the brachiosaurus looks awesome. I wish Dr. Grant had an alternate expression like Ellie does for when they see the Dino for the first time but that is nitpicking. Overall, these 30th anniversary sets hit on the nostalgia for me and that’s all I can ask for! Hoping the Spinosaurus from JP3 is on the horizon…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dinosaur Fanatic I purchased this set for my nephew’s birthday. He loves that LEGO is creating Jurassic Park/World sets for the earlier movies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Requested Gift Item My kids love Lego and I am overjoyed that their Christmas lists are not full of electronics. 2023 is setting up to be a Lego Christmas. It will be a lot of fun watching them open their gifts and heart warming to see them playing for hours without a screen in sight while fully interacting with each other. I cannot ask for a more quality play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive, but great set for the dinosaur fan My son loves having a Lego Brachiosaurus in his collection. The build was easy with an adult helping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of the 30th JP Sets, IMHO Okay, so most of the 30th anniversary sets are designed as play-sets - totally get it (even though younger generations weren't around when the OG movie came out). But, of all the new sets, this one is my favorite. You've got a Brachiosaurus, a Jeep, and a cool tree build (though, interestingly shaped), plus some mini-figs! It has just enough nostalgia and detail that makes the build fun - though, I wish the tree could have been filled out with more branches and leaves, and/or a larger trunk/roots. I love the Jeep build - too bad we didn't have sunglasses for Grant and Ellie to at least hold! (I repurposed this jeep to recreate the T-Rex chase scene with Ellie, Muldoon, and Malcolm).
