I have made 15 quilts on this machine and have loved every minute of it!! I HIGHLY recommend this sewing machine, and don't let the computerized features scare you...very easy to learn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Machine for sewing clothing and piecing quilts I have owned the Juki HZL-F600 Exceed Quilt & Pro Special over a year and am very happy with it. The stitches are consistent on top & bottom. The booklet explains how to use each feature. Easy to learn. Powerful enough to sew on jeans fabric, too. Needle threader is so handy. Love the needle up / down button. The automatic thread cutter button saves time so you don’t need to use a clipper or scissors at the end of your stitching! You won’t find that feature on less expensive models of any brand. Choose whether to use the start/stop button or the foot controller pedal, but not both at the same time.. The bobbins fit other less expensive Juki models. So, if you already have a portable lighter weight model Juki for taking to class, you can share bobbins with it. The machine has a hole on the front for inserting a knee lifter, which is easy to train yourself to use, and comes in so handy when you need to stop & pivot, because when your knee pushes outward on the knee lifter lever, it raises the presser foot for you - leaving hands free to guide the fabric. It also came with an extension table that fits around the free arm, giving more level space to the left when sewing. There are less expensive Juki models for beginners, so I would recommend the Juki HZL-F600 for the sewist who is looking to replace their old, worn- out machine. Keep it clean and take care of it and you will be very happy with this machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Machine I love that it has an automatic threader, and it’s easy to use. The guidebook has very helpful instructions and tips for troubleshooting too. It’s a bit expensive, but you’re paying for quality.
