Mixed bag!
It seems like there's some quality control issues! I got pink diamond and hot hot pink in the sparkly version, and the color looked nearly the same?? The hot hot pink was also NOT soft. It worked up really stiff and actually made my hands hurt a bit. I went in store to pick up a new skein, and it was the exact same lot # and the color was visibly different and it was soft. While I was in store, I went and touched a ton of the in stock skeins and there were a mix of soft and not soft, and some of the colors were off despite being the same lot #. Juicy you have to do better! I know this is a popular yarn and they're trying to keep it in stock, but it can't be at the cost of the product :(

Soft but annoying
Bought a ton of this yarn because I'd heard good things. Unfortunately it was a pain to work with, the skeins aren't well put together so they quickly become a knotted up mess, and the glitter on them shed like CRAZY leaving little flecks everywhere which is such a bummer.

Quality Control? One of Three Skeins was Used/Dirty
I purchased three skeins of "Soft Glow" online - see the pictures. Which does not belong? Two skeins are perfect, the other looks like a used or returned leftover and it's dirty. The Joann return policy requires you pay the shipping of $7.95 and a $25 "restocking fee" - which means it's not worth returning. It's a waste of the expense since the item isn't worth $33.00. I will share that the other items ordered arrived in good condition; this particular one was a mistake and simply means QC wasn't paying attention. Just be aware.

Favorite velvet yarn!
Lovely soft luxe yarn that WORKS WITH A MAGIC CIRCLE. I’ve had 0 problems cinching a magic circle with this yarn , something that’s famously awful when working with chenille or velvet yarns. It’s a bit pricy but well worth it in my opinion. Sparkles and fluff shed a bit but it’s not too bad. Colors are super vibrant and I haven’t had an issue color matching different lotted skeins yet, even with the lighter colors.

Great for the correct project.
Like all chenille yarns, this is great for amigarumi and winter items. It is extremely soft and great to work with. The sparkle adds just a bit of luster to your project. This yarn is not a good fit for fancy stitches as it has very little stitch definition.

Very Luxurious Feeling
This yarn so soft and silky and had a beautiful sheen. The yarn weight is not super bulky to work with and was slides seamlessly on my crochet hook. A little pricey but with a 40% off sale I feel like it was well worth it.
