How To Get It

Used For: Used with thin or lightweight fabrics to stiffen, reinforce and provide shape retention on garments, costumes, accessories and crafts.

Special Benefits: Two main types of interfacing include fusible (which is applied with heat) and sew-in. They can be knit or woven, and come in a variety of weights to reinforce different kinds of base fabric.

The perfect insulated interfacing for sewing lunch bags, water bottle sleeves, shopping bags, oven mitts, potholders, casserole covers, ironing board covers and more! The metalized mylar is layered between polyester fleece to create a high-quality barrier that reflects heat or cold, plus it is very flexible and easy to sew through! Once sewn into a project it machine washable and can be tumble dried with no bunching!

I took apart my old one and made a pattern since it is a perfect size for two blocks of ice or re-previsioning when we are boat cruising. There is plenty of Insul-fleece in one package for this project. I used a vinyl tablecloth as a waterproof lining.
