DIRECTIONS:
- Paint 25mm wood bead with a skin tone color or leave natural wood if desired.
- Paint the top part of the 25mm bead with a hair color, creating desired hair look.
- Paint a face onto the 25mm bead, using black for the eyes and baby pink for the cheeks.
- Paint the 12mm bead with the hair color chosen.
- Paint the 20 mm bead with desired color for the doll's clothing.
- Allow all of the beads to dry.
- Create a tassel by wrapping yarn around a scrap of cardboard approximately 3" wide. Wrap the yarn around the cardboard 30 times.
- Pull the looped yarn off the cardboard and tie another piece of yarn, 12" long around the top part of the loops.
- Tie another length of yarn around all the yarns, about ½" from the top of the tassel.
- Cut the ends of the tassel and trim to desired length.
- With the top yarn used to tie the tassel, string the painted beads, the 20mm bead, then the 25mm bead, then the 12mm bead.
- Knot the yarn onto a key ring. Thread the ends of the yarn back through the beads and trim any leftover yarn.
JOANN Hacks:
- Use a fine paint brush for the face details.
- Personalize the dolls as desired for an individual look.
