SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Canvas frame
- Painter's tape
- Assortment of paintbrushes
- Assortment of acrylic paints
- Painting palette
- Cup of water
- Paper towels
DIRECTIONS:
- Tape around the wood edges of the frame and completely cover the glass insert with tape.
- Paint your image; allow to dry.
- Remove tape.
JOANN HACKS:
- It can be helpful to choose a color to paint the whole canvas as a base coat, even if you end up painting large swaths of it white again later. It might lead you to think of color combinations you might not have considered if you had started from white, or at the very least it can help get you to start painting if you're beginning to overthink it.
- Use a variety of brush sizes.
