Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Plaid Crochet Simple and easy instructions to follow. List and amount of yarn needed is there. I ordered yarn from Joann to make it. I love the woven look.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok blanket, unclear instructions This seemed like a pretty pattern and easy to follow, but the instructions aren’t that clear and they didn’t mention how many skeins you need. I found out the hard way that you need at least 2 skeins of each color. I am at the weaving part, and the color pattern they provide is a bit unclear so I am trying the “plan as you go” flow. And I am still trying to figure out how to tie off the ends of the weaves….

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unclear pattern I'm considering printing this pattern but...1) How many skeins of each color? 2) Do you knot the woven-in strands or are they just loose, meaning they could easily be snagged out?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weving - tip Only weaving one way (top to bottom). However, begin weaving from left EDGE to right EDGE. I added Edge - I think this clarifies. Weaving is from top to bottom (to get the plaid effect) - but begin weaving along the left edge - using the color sequence provided. Hope this helps!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still looking for help with weaving... Finished the ‘skeleton’, crochet part. Now ready to weave the strands but no answer to my earlier question. If anyone has made this, can you help? It looks like you’re only weaving in one direction vertically from the picture, is that right? And why is there directions for cutting additional 18” fringe when you are already directed to leave 9” on each end of the long strand for fringe? Unless you’re adding it to the other 2 sides? But doesn’t have it in the picture? Help... think I’m going to go with my gut and weave vertically and also use excess of those strands for fringe and see how it looks compared to photo and go from there.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but incomplete instructions Straightforward till you get to the weaving part. First it says weave vertically but no tie off instructions. Then it says weave left to right and tie off with fringe. Am I weaving in both directions or just one? Also I found this pattern on another site and it lists the number of balls needed: 3-A, 2-B, 2-C, 1-D, 1-E just fyi.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Pattern Easy to follow pattern, just doesn't say how much yarn you need. I just finished the blanket and I used 3 balls of bone, 2 of pagoda and autumn red, and 1 of robin's egg and pumpkin with varying amounts of leftovers of each colour.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Work in progress I am working on this blanket right now and I cannot figure out how many skiens I need. The pattern leads to yo believe 1 skien of each color, however, the pattern repeats 8 times. I tend to crochet tightly and I don't see how I will finish this project with one skien each (except for the pumpkin and Robbins egg). Love the yarn! I may be surprised when I am finished. Did I skip something? Any help would be appreciated.
