SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Felt 9"x 12", White, 2 sheets
  • Embroidery thread, Pink
  • Embroidery thread, White
  • Embroidery thread, Black (Eyes option 1)
  • Small black beads (Eyes option 2)
  • Scissors
  • Embroidery needle
  • Polyfil® stuffing
  • Pattern templates

DIRECTIONS:

To print the patterns, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
  1. Cut two Cloud Body pieces.
  2. With the black thread, stitch two eyes onto the face using a French knot, or sew two black beads securely in place for the eyes.
  3. Use the black thread to stitch the mouth with a back stitch.
  4. With the pink thread, create two small decorative stitches under the eyes.
  5. Place the top and bottom Cloud Body pieces together and sew around the edge with a blanket stitch, leaving a small hole for stuffing.
  6. Stuff the Cloud.
  7. Sew the stuffing hole shut and tie off the thread.

Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:

  • For younger children, pattern pieces can be hot glued in place, rather than hand sewn.
