Holiday Wreath with Ornaments

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 20" Wire Wreath Form
  • Spray Paint, White
  • Acrylic Paint, Holiday Colors
  • Detailed Paintbrush
  • Flat Medium Paintbrush
  • Picks Of Silver Balls, Gemstones, Ice
  • Plastic Ornaments, Various Sizes
  • Pom Poms, White
  • Pom Poms, White Glitter
  • Unfinished Wood Holiday Wood Ornaments (7)
  • 24 Pk Scribbles 3D Paint
  • Plastic Gemstones
  • Jingle Bells, Various Sizes
  • 2" Ribbon, Purple Glitter
  • Floral Wire Quick Grip Glue Stem
  • Wire Cutters

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Spray paint the wire wreath white and let it dry.
  2. Make an 8" bow with the ribbon and tie it to the wreath.
  3. Lay the wreath on a flat surface in front of you. Place the wood ornaments around the wreath to determine the spacing.
  4. Tie on the silver ball picks and twirl them around a pencil to give them a curly look.
  5. Lay out the different colored plastic ornaments in groups of 3-4 and various sizes around the wreath. Attach ornaments in place with wire and hot glue.
  6. Randomly glue the white pom poms and glitter pom poms around the wreath to give it a holiday vibe.
  7. Now- take your time and paint the base colors on the wooden ornaments in different acrylic colors. Let them dry. Use the Scribbles 3-D paint to add dimension to the ornaments.
  8. Attach the wooden ornaments to the wreath using the Quick Grip Glue.

JOANN HACKS:

  • Glue the finished wooden ornaments at different angles to create a more dimensional look to the wreath.
