Toppers and Liners:
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Harry Potter Perler® Bead set
- Perler® Beads in red, yellow, blue and green
- Iron
- Parchment paper
- Glue gun and glue
- Cupcake pan or liner for reference
DIRECTIONS:
- To create a cupcake holder using Perler beads, use a cupcake pan or liner as a reference. First make a circular bottom a little larger than your reference. Use one of the four colors, red, yellow, blue or green. The four colors represent the four houses at Hogwarts.
- Place parchment paper over beads and press hot iron on top of paper for 20 seconds. The iron will slightly melt the beads together to mold the bottom of your cupcake holder.
- Once the bottom is completed, set aside. For the sides of the cupcake liner create a long strip of Perler beads. Make sure it is long enough to wrap around your cupcake and attach to the base of the holder with a hot glue gun.
- Follow instructions in the Harry Potter Perler Bead set to make mini characters from Harry Potter. The mini characters are the perfect size to be used as cupcake toppers.
Sprinkle Surprise Cupcakes
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Favorite cupcake mix
- Wilton® sprinkles in red, yellow, blue and green
- Wilton® decorating icing in red, yellow, blue and green.
- Cupcake liners
- Cupcake pan
DIRECTIONS:
- Bake cupcakes and allow to completely cool.
- Scoop out a tsp amount out of the center of the cupcake.
- Fill center with either the red, yellow, blue or green sprinkles. Each color represents a school house.
- Add the same color of icing to the top of the cupcake with more sprinkles.
