The Handy Press mini iron is a great tool for sewing and crafting projects, appliques, iron-on transfers, travel and simple touch ups. The small hand iron fits in tight spaces such as carry-on bags, sewing baskets or toolboxes, making it a great go-to tool. This red and white iron operates at a single temperature only and does not use water, making it easy to pack, move and store. Includes a detachable electrical cord. Iron measures 2-1/2x4x2 inches. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please Save Your Money Does not heat up. This iron only gets slightly warm. I wish I was able to return it but I opened it and used it past the return date. This product is no reflection of Joann's Store. Singer is the one who dropped the ball on this product. I don't understand how this iron passed quality control when the product was made. I did not read the reviews prior to purchase but I really wish I would have.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't Heat I bought this because I have a small sewing space and can't have a large iron. I bought it at my local Joann's store but has never heated properly. I was hoping to use it for seam pressing but it won't work. Disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What is it good for? Not ironing. I bought this at my local Joann’s some time last year. I wanted a small iron to keep next to my sewing machine to iron my seams instead of constantly going into the other room to use my big iron. This iron stinks. I have let it sit for a really long time hoping it will get hot enough to actually press a proper seam but it never does. I can actually do a better job with my little roller press than this iron does. I recently decided to buy a different brand from amazon and I am sooo happy I did. Now I’m just upset that I got rid of the packaging and receipt for this one because I can’t even bring myself to give this to someone because it doesn’t even get hot enough to iron my tissue thin cotton scarves. This iron is not a good purchase unless you just want a cute paperweight. Oh..and the cord is in the absolute WORST location. It is totally in the way if you’re trying to iron something. I’ve tried it both lefty and righty and neither way is good. It’s just way too bulky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy I Got it After a lot of horrible reviews I really was hesitant to buy this but went ahead and gave it a shot. I am very happy with it!! I have been making clothes and accessories for my daughter’s 18” Doll (American Girl, Our Generation, etc) and needed something smaller to work with the small pieces. This iron did the job. No issues heating up and the cord is a bit awkward but overall very happy with this purchase.
