Happy with my choice
Gatermann is so well known for quality thread. When I bought my serger, there was no other brand that I even considered. The Gutermann serger thread colors, in my opinion has a more modern palette then the other brand. I’m very happy with my choice and can’t wait to dive in.

Great Longarm thread, but quality is variable
This is the only thread I use on my long arm. Some cones I go through with no issues but I got a cone of 9210 and it broke seven different times throughout my quilt. Just something to be aware of.

Wrong online description ?
I bought a few mini cones of this thread, the description is 40 wt, 100% polyester made by Gutermann. The colors are flat, the feel to the hand is more like cheap cotton thread, rougher than Gutermann polyester. 40wt, can’t prove it by my other 40wt threads.
Happy I bought neutral colors, not being matched to a specific fabric or project.
