NOT White
The website said the fabric was white, but when it arrived, it was most definitely not white. I returned it, and the sales lady agreed it was ivory, not white. I would call it a light beige. Otherwise, it had a good feel, was nice and shiny and I would have used a serger on it since the cut edges frayed quite easity.

Affordable and Fun
I love using this fabric for costumes and hero capes. Quick tip when sewing with this fabric use a Microtex sewing needle. It will help prevent snags. Happy sewing !

Plastic?
I bought this online without feeling it in store first (my fault, I know). It feels like a bougie plastic black trash bag. Or non-stretchy faux costume pleather. In any case, it feels and looks cheap.

Horrible
Making a costume with this fabric was nothing but a mess. The fraying on the seams was unbelievable. Even Zigzagging didn't help. I ended up using a lighter to seal the seams. If I had known, I would have paid double to get a fabric that didn't make such a fuzzy mess.

Worst Fabric ever MINUS 4 stars
I have been sewing for 65 years (professionally for about 40 of those years.. I have a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.), and I have never encountered a fabric as awful as this. I purchased it to use for a lining in a coat. When I laid it out to cut, there was awful brown globby stuff stuck to the fabric in various areas. So I washed the fabric. Bad idea. It frayed so bad that it came out a tangled mess of strings. I finally got it pressed enough to cut out my lining. Even serging the entire pieces did not stop the fraying, and even using a walking foot did not make it easier to work with. About halfway through making the lining, I threw the whole mess into the trash and found some different fabric. I am now 2 days behind getting this coat done because I had to start over on the lining. Don't buy this crap. You will regret it.

Good Costume or Doll Clothing Fabric for the Price
Although the fabric is somewhat thin and can be difficult to work with because of it being slippery, it is good quality for the price and has a fantastic shine to it! I use it a lot in designing doll clothes, and I think it would make the perfect fabric for costumes.
