DIRECTIONS: All seams are 1/4" unless stated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It takes some doing and you might need darts! What took the longest for me was getting the measurements down and making the pattern. Perhaps if there was a pattern that you could use or expand on a photo copy machine that might be more helpful . Once I got the actual idea and cut out the pattern it went pretty fast and is extremely comfortable to wear both my husband who works at a grocery store and my daughter who likes to walk wear them. I did have to add darts to make it a little more fitted. If you are outside and running where there are very few people around, masks might be optional but this is certainly a go-to for trips to the grocery store or other places were more people gather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gator masks For those looking for the pattern it is in the upper right hand corner it says ' download pdf'. The picture above shows the 2 different shaded areas where the pattern pieces are shown. This view is on the left side. Do the same to the right. I love that Joann has given different patterns for masks. Thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Makes no sense I was looking forward to making this mask for my nephew. Even though the instructions are vague, I was going try to make it. Make a curved line. Then make a bigger curve line. How big am I supposed to make it? You can make a curve in any size. It’s almost like they made these instructions so you would waste material trying to make it. I was really looking forward to trying to make this, but I can’t make sense of the instructions

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How about a pattern? Where is the pattern? These directions are not helpful without one. There is better information on YouTube.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Protect against black flies and mosquitoes Since the northeast will soon be tormented by black flies and mosquitoes, besides the threat of the COVID-19 virus, this might be just the thing that will be useful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How to make a Gator Style Mask I thought this would be a good project. My two sons are essential workers (carpenter journeymen); hands free would be great! Pattern is a great idea, however instructions aren’t very good. The project was a fail! I tried again and made a lot of changes to try to make it work...
