SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • POP!™ Foam Sheet: 2mm
  • Cording
  • Pony Beads
  • Flowerpot
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut a 6" square from the foam sheet.
  2. With a 6"x 9" sheet of foam, fold the corner up & mark to determine the size to cut without measuring.
  3. Fold sheet in half to form a triangle.
  4. Cut a slit into the foam, starting at the folded edge about 3/4" in from the side.
  5. Cut the slit straight, following the edge of the sheet.
  6. Stop a little less than halfway up the side.
  7. Repeat on the other side of the foam sheet.
  8. There should be 2 V-shaped slits in 2 corners of the opened square.
  9. Unfold the square, then fold again in the opposite direction.
  10. Cut 2 more slits on either side of the folded triangle.
  11. Cut the slit toward the first slit but stop about 3/4" before reaching the first slit.
  12. Unfold the square to see 4 V-slits in each corner.
  13. Fold the square in half to form a rectangle.
  14. Cut slits on the 2 short sides of the rectangle.
  15. Start at the folded edge & cut about 3/4" away from previous slit.
  16. Stop 1" before reaching the slit from the other side.
  17. Unfold the square & fold in half in the opposite direction, forming a rectangle.
  18. Cut 2 more slits following the steps above.
  19. Unfold the square to see 4 new slits in a square (8 slits total)
  20. Fold square back into a triangle & cut 2 slits.
  21. Unfold & fold back in the other direction.
  22. Cut 2 more slits.
  23. There should be 12 slits total.
  24. Cut 4 pieces of cord 36" long.
  25. Fold cord pieces in half.
  26. Attach cord to each corner of the square by folding the corner down to meet the first slit.
  27. Loop the folded edge of the cord through the opening in the corner.
  28. Pull cord ends through the loop & pull to form a knot.
  29. Repeat for all 4 corners.
  30. Add pony beads to cord.
  31. Add flowerpot to the center of the foam sheet.
  32. Gather cords together & pull up to determine final hanging length.
  33. Knot all cords together at the top and trim ends.
