SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Unfinished wood basket
- Rit® dye (maroon/dark red)
- Gloves
- Paper towels
- Bowl or container (large enough to fit the box into)
- Ribbon
DIRECTIONS:
- Mix dye in container with water to desired shade. Follow the directions on the container.
- Submerge the basket in the dye bath until it is at your desired shade. Wipe off any excess dye from the box and the clear panels.
- Set aside to dry.
- Tie a ribbon with a bow on one side of the basket
JOANN HACKS:
- Do multiple dips in the dye bath to gradually get a darker color.
