SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Glass containers
- Assorted bags of sand in natural colors
- Bag white crush gravel
- 1pk Bloom artificial art plants
- 1pk small geodes
- Wooden craft stick or toothpick
- Wire cutters
DIRECTIONS:
- Find a clean flat surface to work.
- Pour a small amount of sand into the bottom of glass container.
- Pour a different color on the sides on glass container.
- Using the craft stick, push down on the sides of the sand to create patterns.
- Continue to layer the sand to create patterns on the sides of container.
- As you get near the top, decide where you want to insert air plants and geodes.
- Using your wire cutter, cut down stems of the air plants if needed.
- Insert plants into your sand art terrarium.
JOANN HACK:
- You can use the geodes to create barriers or walls with the sand to change up the layers and patterns as you pour it into the container.
