SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 2-3 Fat Quarters
- Green and brown felt for leaves and stem
- 1 bag polyester fiberfil
- Jute or yarn
- Long needle
- Basic sewing supplies
- Poly-Fil fiber filling
- Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
DIRECTIONS:
- 1/2" seam allowance
- To print the patterns, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
- Cut six pumpkin patterns from orange fabric.
- With right sides together, sew two pumpkin pieces together along one long side, starting at straight side and ending 1/2" from end of point.
- Continue sewing the six pieces together.
- Fold under 1/2" on top and gather edge.
- Stuff pumpkin firmly and pull gathering stitch tight leaving a 1" opening.
- Wrap pumpkin with jute along seam lines for shaping.
- From green felt, cut two leaves. Glue to top of pumpkin using hot glue
- Cut a 2"x 4" rectangle from brown felt. Roll into a stem, starting at the 2" side. Hot glue into the center top of the pumpkin.
