- Quilters Rule, 2"
- Marking pen or pencil
- Fabric
DIRECTIONS:
- Measure the height of the book and add 2".
- Use a sewing tape measure to measure the cover, spine and back of the book and add 8".
- Cut one piece of fabric. Fold in sides 1/4" and sew.
- Lay fabric RS up. Lay open book centered on fabric. Fold ends of fabric over the front and back covers of book. Pin in place. Mark a line on the folded pocket sections, about 1/8" from the top and bottom edges of the book cover. Remove the fabric from the book and sew along the marked lines. Trim the corners. Turn RSO and press. Press the top and bottom unfinished edges to match the height of the folded pockets.
- Place on to book.
