How To Get It

The Dritz Essential Sewing Box Kit - Blue is a plastic storage box with a removable tray that contains all the basic supplies required for your next project. This pack includes shears that are designed for cutting fabric, a pin magnet that acts as the perfect storage tool for straight pins and glass head pins. It also includes the Seam Ripper which is a small blade that can be used to remove unwanted stitches and hand needles in assorted sizes and a storage tube for easy storage and removal of needles. With the special markings on the measuring tape included in the pack, you can easily use it from either end. You can also use the pencil to transfer pattern markings onto your fabric and the mini pincushion to store your favorite pins and needles.

It has everything you need to do a small repair job and was perfect as a first sewing kit for my daughter. My daughter wanted to learn to sew small things like a button and this kit is a perfect starter kit for her. I loved that it has a tape measure, pin cushion, needles, pins, shears, seam ripper, white marking pencil, ruler and a pin magnet.

It has a glorious seam ripper that I’ve used to take hems out of pants that were too short, I have used the magnetic needle jar and the polar oriented pin holder as well as the cherry tomato pin cushion. I measured my son for new work pants with the measuring tape and I’ve used the INCREDIBLY WELL MADE SHEARS several times for cutting of fabrics and threads. This kid is perfect for anyone. It’s great for the car, for the office and even for the most advanced of seamsters, as they are tools needed for all sewing projects. The compartments are excellent for holding threads and thimbles and such. I even would like to give one to my teen daughter for things that she would use it for such as buttons or distressing clothing. This is a must have for all ages and all projects. Perfect for just about any project, big or small, advanced or beginner

Im a seasoned sewer and this is just so handy to take along on a trip. And my granddaughter is a starter sewer and its perfect for her new sewing kit starter. The Dritz Sewing Box Kit has all the basic things to start out with or to take along on a trip. It has all you need for a rip, a hem quick fix or a button missing. This kit is just perfect.

This is perfect for beginners or more experienced sewists. The container includes the following: shears, for cutting fabric. A magnet, glass head pins,steam ripper. Hand needles, Needle storage tube, tape measure, a double sided ruler, pencils to mark on the fabric, cherry tomato pin cushion to store your favorite pins & needles. This is exactly what I needed. I’ve always watched my grandmother sew when I was a little girl and now that I purchased it, now I see why everyone enjoys it. It’s very relaxing but it can be a lot of work. If you enjoy sewing then this will be perfect for you! I highly recommend this product.
