DIY Craft Storage Paint Box

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1 Clear storage container, 7"x14"
  • Assorted bottles of paint
  • 4 packages of Little Makers paper rolls
  • Fiskars saw
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Quick grip glue

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Remove lid from the storage container and set aside.
  2. Cut 4 legs from the paper rolls, each measuring 1 1/2" high.
  3. Glue the legs to the the side of the storage container.
  4. Cut the rest of the tubes to be 3 1/2" tall.
  5. Glue the paper rolls together in a row using the hot glue gun.
  6. Glue the second row staggered on top of the first row.
  7. Continue to do this until you have reached the top of the container.
  8. Fill the empty rolls with bottles of paint.
  9. You can then attach the lid if you want.

CRAFT HACK TIPS & TRICKS:

  • After cutting the tube, use scissors to smooth out the cut edge.
  • To make cut tube pieces flush on the front side when gluing them together, glue them standing up in a group on a flat surface.
