It appears the fabric is treated with a smaller perfluorocarbon segmented chemical per Crypton's website: "Crypton has developed an environmentally preferable C6 chemistry for all of its fabrics".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice! I ordered 18 yards to upholster an old, but good quality, yard sale sofa. In my younger days, in the early 70's, I owned an upholstery shop, so I'm both knowledgable and fussy about fabrics. This fabric was easy to work with, tailored up nicely, and seems to be as sturdy as advertised. This sofa is curved, and the fabric hasn't much stretch, so that was a bit tricky, hence the 4 stars. Color is very neutral, pale sand. I think it looks not bad for a 73 year old woman doing the job!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wrong color The photo makes this fabric look like a nice off-white or cream when it is actually SAND colored as the name suggests. A light yellowish tan. Just beware. Otherwise a nice subtle linen look pattern but definitely not what we were looking for. Wish joanns had better photos
