SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Cricut Explore
  • Cardstock - Assorted Colors
  • Hot Glue or Any Quick Dry Paper Glue
  • Cricut Standard Mat
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Open up Cricut Design Space.
  2. On a new canvas, insert flower image (#M4687B) and image Bellis (#M10047DF2).
  3. Duplicate the flower image 3 times and adjust size so you have a large petal, medium petal and a small petal.
  4. Duplicate each size approx 9 times (totally 38-40).
  5. Change colors of petals according to your cardstock colors.
  6. Duplicate the bellis image (this is going to be the center of the flower) until you have 12 total strips.
  7. Change colors according to your cardstock colors.
  8. Insert leaf image, or using cardstock, fold paper in half and cut out a leaf shape.
  9. Insert stem image (Flower, Print Fill #MB950CAE).
  10. Duplicate stem flower approx 12 times and change size to make some small and some large (these will go under your petals) change color to green.
  11. Cut with the Cricut.
  12. Glue petals together (small on large, small on small, etc).
  13. Cut with scissors halfway to center down the flower stem, glue by overlapping one petal.
  14. Glue flower stem to petals.
  15. Roll bellis strips and glue as you roll.
  16. Glue bellis center onto petal center.
  17. Using cardstock approx 8"x10", roll starting from a corner until you form a long stem and glue.
  18. Cut tip of newly rolled stem into 3 strips.
  19. Glue stem to base of flower and cut stem to have some short and long stems.
  20. Glue leaves onto stems.

CRAFT HACK TIPS & TRICKS:

  • Use your hand to bend and roll paper petals and leaves to give the flower a more natural look.
  • Cut using CARDSTOCK INTRICATE CUT, this will help cut any fine details (especially on the bellis center of flower image)

I already know how to put the flowers together - - I'm just tired of hand cutting them out. Thanks.
