They enjoyed putting it together and planting the seeds. And they loved it they could put a glow in the dark paint and the volcano with the light. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

After a few days it did start to grow. He also had fun decorating it. The biggest draw back for us was the smell. It had a strong unpleasant scent. We had to keep it outside. My son enjoyed this kit but you might want to add some of your own soil and seeds to it as well.

It's hard doing much these days and my son is getting bored so I love getting little activities like this for us to do together. It gives him something to look forward to. He gets up water's the soil and can't wait to see something sprout.
