SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Package of POP! Natural Craft Sticks
- Aleene's Craft Glue or School Glue
- Embroidery Floss Pieces (4) or 18" Thin String
- Wooded Beads
- Pop! Craft Paint
- Paint Brushes
- Scissors
DIRECTIONS:
- Paint 60 sticks in your choice of colors.
- Lay 4 craft sticks in a square with the ends over lapping. Glue sticks together where they cross.
- Stack another 4 crafts sticks on top of the first, repeat the order so that each stick is touching another. Glue these 4 sticks to each other and the row underneath.
- Continue adding rows this way until you have 10 rows of sticks.
- Finish the bottom of the feeder by adding 5 sticks across the underside and gluing to the bottom row.
- Cut one craft stick in half and place a small tab of glue on the cut edge and slide into the birdfeeder between two popsicle sticks to create a perch for the bird.
- Thread the string between the top 2 rows at the corners. Add wood beads as desired and bring the 4 strings to meet at the center for hanging.
