Works Great, but Potentially Dangerous
This mini iron is perfect for fitting in tight areas and pressing trims, etc. However, the metal gets extremely hot, and the plastic guard doesn't cover enough. The stand in flimsy compared to the piece, and I felt very uncomfortable using it on my plastic craft table.

Love it / Hate it
Honest Review. The iron gets VERY hot, works well in tiny areas for HTV vinyl , sewing etc. But don’t get lost in your thought process because the tiny little plastic stand in relation to the size and cord is dangerous. Have an iron mat handy. As well the Red plastic sheath DEFINITELY needs to be re designed for safety. You must be continuously mindful of hand placement. I have no idea who thought this was a good design for a hot item. Works great, with great safety issues. Not sure if it has auto shut off either. So I love it and hate it.

Great mini iron
I bought this a few months ago and love it. Although I don't care for the little stand much, I do love the easy to use mini iron. Great for pressing down seams as I sew.

Be Careful!
Received this s a gift. Works great and gets VERY hot. It really needs a protective cover over the exposed rod because you can burn yourself badly. I know, be careful, but I was careful and owww! I would recommend a different product.

So-so
It's ok, but I'm not thrilled. The packaging says it take 10 minutes (!) to come to full heat intensity. That's an awfully long time to wait for a mini-iron. Also, it's not particularly stable on its included stand; it tends to roll sideways due to weight, not something that seems very safe to me. I love the small size; it's perfect for seams of all sorts. All-in-all, I've generously given it 3 stars.

Great Product
Love this product for freezer paper appliqué with small shapes, ironing in small areas (ie. seams), etc. It maintains a nice high heat which I like, but the heat is adjustable. The one minor negative is the less than efficient iron tip holder meant to rest the tip on when not using the device. It can be difficult adjusting your iron so that the holder works to keep the hot tip off your ironing board. Other than that this Mini Iron is an indispensable tool for the quilter/appliquer.

This model really is an 'upgrade' from my original one that I'd used for many years. Great safety features, & I love the the fact that there are different accessories you can purchase separately.
